Originally planned as a series of four seasonal concerts, the Seasons of Joy concert series evolved into a "mini-season" during the first half of 2023, featuring three concerts. Following a positive response from attendees, the 2023-24 season began in September, with events scheduled for almost every month through July 2024.
Proceeds from the voluntary love offerings collected at events have been allocated to Wear Gloves, a local organization that provides a hand up to individuals in need in the Ocala community and the JOY handbell choir expansion project. It is anticipated that when the fundraising for the bell choir is complete, love offering proceeds (beyond contributions to Wear Gloves) will allow the series to become more self-sufficient financially, and to also help support ministry opportunities at JOY.
All concerts are free and open to the public.
