I am a true Florida native, born in Dunedin in the Tampa Bay area (hooray, Bucs!)
After serving 20 years in the Navy as a trombonist in several fleet bands, I attended Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC, graduating with a Master of Divinity degree in 2006. I served as Pastor at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church in DeLand, FL for ten years. How thrilling to serve the Lord in my home state! I accepted the call here to Joy, and began my ministry here on January 1st, 2017.
Pastor Art is married to Debbie (Gorman), and they have a daughter, Amy.
