OUTREACH MINISTRY
2025
Our Outreach Blessing Bag Mission for 2025 is well under way. The project started before April, with the completion of 150 beautiful hand sewn bags. Each bag will become the personal property of the recipients.
The bags will go to the SoZo kids. SoZo is Greek for "to save, rescue". Sozo kids was started by Pastor Dave and his wife to aid the children of the forest. We were asked to collect hygiene items, crew socks and bandanas, as well as water and healthy snacks.
We are almost there! We will be collecting these items until May 29th. An update of the items, and quantities needed, is posted in the bulletin and in the Narthex.
Thursday, May 29th, the items will be taken down to Swenson Hall at 10:00 am to set up our "assembly line". The packing of the bags will begin at 11:00 am. They will then be delivered to Pastor Dave for distribution.
