    I am a true Florida Cracker, born in Dunedin in the Tampa Bay area (hooray, Bucs!)

    After serving 20 years in the Navy as a trombonist in several fleet bands, I attended Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC, graduating with a Master of Divinity degree in 2006. I served as Pastor at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church in DeLand, FL for ten years. How thrilling to serve the Lord in my home state! I accepted the call here to Joy, and began my ministry here on January 1st, 2017.

    I have been married to my wife Debbie for 36 years and we have a daughter Amy, 32.

    The Evangelism/Vision Meeting format has changed.  It is now going to be a Hybrid meeting.
    You may come  in person or continue on zoom, whichever way you prefer. 
    The time has been changed to Tuesday Afternoon at 2:00 PM in Swenson Hall.
